Recente wijzigingen/Recent updates:
  • Besliskunde A (docent Floske Spieksma) is nu ook opgenomen in het tweedejaars rooster en kan door zowel tweede- als derdejaars bachelorstudenten als keuzevak worden gekozen.

  • Lineaire algebra 1 (docent Bas Edixhoven) is verplaatst van dinsdag het 3e en 4e uur naar dinsdag het 7e en 8e uur.

  • The scheduling of the courses is essentially in its final form but small changes may still be posssible; in particular, lecture rooms may be changed.

  • Starting 2017-18, the 3rd-8th hour will start 15 minutes earlier, i.e., the 3rd hour will start at 11:00, the 4th hour at 12:00, etc.

Lectures start strictly as indicated in the schedules. So please be in time!
Practical classes ('practica') in Delft usually start at 9:00 in the morning and 13:30 in the afternoon.

Exams

Written mathematics exams ('schriftelijke tentamens') in Leiden are usually from 10:00-13:00/14:00-17:00 unless otherwise stated.
Partial exams ('deeltentamens') are usually from 10:00-12:00/11:00-13:00/14:00-16:00.
The exams usually take place in the Snellius, and sometimes in one of the big lecture halls of the Gorlaeus building. In case the exams take place in the Snellius, the exact rooms are announced on the electronic billboard opposite to the entrance of the Snellius; see also info screen.

Written mathematics exams in Delft are usually from 9:00-12:00/14:00-17:00 unless otherwise stated.
The rooms where the exams take place are announced in OSIRIS.

Lecture rooms

Most mathematics lectures are given in the Snellius building, the big lecture halls in the disk of the Gorlaeus laboratories, the Havingazaal of the Gorlaeuslaboratories, the de Sitterzaal on the ground floor of the Oort building, and the lecture rooms of the Huygens laboratory (same entrance as the Oort building).
Occasionally, mathematics lectures are given in the van Steenis building.
