Oliver
Hi, I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Probability Group
at the Mathematical Institute of Leiden University.

My work is part of the NETWORKS project, under the supervision of Frank den Hollander.

  Research Interests

I am interested in Probability Theory, in particular topics such as statistical mechanics and metastability of interacting particle systems, random graphs, and mixing times of Markov chains.
Another research interest are pattern avoiding permutations.

  Short CV

I was also a P&L analyst at HSBC Canada (2009) and an Investments Specialist at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (2007-2008). Here is a more detailed CV.

  Seminar organization

I am one of the coordinators of the Most Informal Probability Seminar at Leiden University.

  Teaching at Leiden University

I taught ''Mathematics basic'' in spring 2015 and "Mathematical Reasoning" in spring 2016, both at LUC The Hague.
