Linear Analysis

Lectures on Monday 13:45-15:30 in Snellius 401. I teach the first seven lectures, which provides an introduction to functional analysis. The second part of the course on partial differential equations is taught by Marcel de Jeu. There are biweekly homework assignments, available on blackboard.

This course as an additional training in college algebra. Short exams on September 3 (14:45-16:00, Rooms 312, 403, 405) and September 26 (11:15-12:15, Rooms 402, 403, 405). Lectures on September 5 (11:15-13:00, Room 413), September 10, 17, and 24 (14:45-16:30, Room 312).

Crash course sequences and series

Fall 2008.
Sequences and Series used to be part of Analysis 3 (through Fall 2007) and are now part of Analysis 1 (since Fall 2007). Student who finished Analysis 1 before Fall 2007 and who are doing Analysis 3 this semester (or later) have to do this crash course. Lectures on Monday 15 September, Tuesday 23 September, and Monday 29 September (15:45-17:30). There will be one homework assignment. More information will be become available on the blackboard page of Analysis 3.
