| I just camefrom a lecture presented by Prof. Bart de Smit, here at the University of Michigan, and all i can say is wow. I am absolutely in awe. After a short reception, where i actually met Prof. de Smit, i had to run directly to the library to visit this website. As one with strong passions in both theoretical mathematics and art, this is the eptiome of everything i love. I can honestly say that up until this point in my life, nothing has ever had me more spellbound than hearing this presentation and understanding the Droste effect in Escher's work. I am completely captivated, and will be certain to bookmark this page the instant i return home.
