Research field

Welcome! I am part of the Analysis Group at the Mathematical Institute of Leiden University. My primary research interest is the analysis of applied nonlinear partial differential equations.

Short bio I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics in 2009 at the University of Karlsruhe, GER, (now Karlsruhe Institute of Technology) after my Diploma in "Technomathematik" 2006. Before joining Leiden University I held several postdoc and lecturer positions (Centrum Wiskunde en Informatica - Amsterdam (NL), Boston University - Boston (MA, U.S.A.), Brown University - Providence (RI, U.S.A.), Sydney University - Sydney (AUS)).
Further activities
  • Member of the Board of NDNS+ "Nonlinear Dynamics and Natural Systems Plus" NWO-Cluster of Mathematics"
  • Founding Member of the NDNS+ SAG "Analysis of PDEs"
  • Member of the Education Committee of the Mathematical Institute at Leiden University
