MS33 Part 2 of 2 - Inverse problems and parameter estimation

    MS33 Part 1 of 2

    Abstract:
Many inverse problems involve estimating parameters and / or states in a dynamical system based on partial and noisy measurements of the state. Applications include medical imaging, population models, materials science and geophysical exploration. This two-part mini-symposium gives an overview of both theoretical and computational aspects that arise in such applications.
