Description
This course aims to give a second course in field theory for Bachelor students in their last year and for Master students. The subject will continue from the course Algebra 3 but the methods will be more advanced. Topics that will be addressed may include: infinite Galois theory, Kummer Theory, Artin-Schreier theory, normal basis theorem, inseparable extensions, transcendence degree, Kähler differentials, Jacobson-Bourbaki theory, quadratic forms, ordered fields, Witt vectors, finite fields, valuation theory.
